This 1964 Jaguar Mk II was acquired by the seller for his wife in 2012 and dubbed "Morse" based on the British detective drama television series Inspector Morse, in which the titular character drives a Jaguar Mk II. Following the seller's acquisition, a 350ci V8 and a three-speed automatic transmission were fitted.
