The Bugatti Type 35 stands as one of the most iconic and successful racing cars in history, a testament to Ettore Bugatti's relentless pursuit of automotive artistry and engineering. Introduced in 1924, the Type 35 quickly dominated the Grand Prix circuits, famously winning the Targa Florio five times in a row, a feat that cemented its legendary status. Its elegant, aerodynamic lines, often finished in Bugatti Blue, concealed groundbreaking features like its hollow front axle for reduced unsprung weight and the exquisite cast aluminum wheels with integral brake drums. The "B" variant, like this example, typically signifies the most potent iterations, often equipped with a supercharger to extract maximum performance from its straight-eight engine, pushing output to around 130 horsepower and making it a formidable competitor on any track. This particular Type 35 B presents a unique opportunity, offered with 0 miles and an automatic transmission, suggesting it is a meticulously crafted re-creation or a tribute vehicle, built to honor the original's legacy while perhaps incorporating modern elements for usability or display. While the original Type 35s were celebrated for their precise manual gearboxes and potent engines, this interpretation with an automatic transmission and its "coupe" body style offers a fresh perspective on a timeless design. It represents a chance to own a piece of automotive history reimagined, ready to be admired and enjoyed.
